The hotel had a nice boating theme in my room directly overlooking the entrance to the coop store, which was a bit noisy at times. The bathroom facilities were great. However, the availability of my room was a bit inconsistent. The price was fair for what was offered.
Rooms
8.0
I enjoyed the boating theme in my room and the great bathroom facilities.
Service
7.0
The front desk staff quickly changed my room and provided a fan. However, they couldn't provide an additional plug-in heater as promised.
Location
5.0
The hotel is less convenient for visiting Chatham and required a car. The views over the marina were nice, but the broken furniture and bathroom issues were disappointing.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were convenient for visiting the Historic Dockyards and the Medway university Campuses. The breakfast included was excellent, but there were some borderline issues.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were decent around the marina and shopping area, but the broken furniture and unpleasant smells were off-putting. The hotel should consider updating the bathroom facilities and lift to enhance the guest experience.

7.4/10
The hotel is located in a lovely area, perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. The rooms are tastefully arranged, but lack air conditioning, which can be a bit noisy if facing the car park. The service is generally good with a young, polite, and engaging staff, but there was an issue with a parking charge notice that needs to be sorted. The location is ideal for those visiting the Chatham dockyard, just minutes away, and within walking distance of the old Royal Navy Ship Yards. The dining experience had its ups and downs with fantastic bacon and eggs but cold dishes needing improvement.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were large and comfortable, with the option for room service and a private terrace overlooking the marina, but the lack of proper ventilation made it feel hot like an oven at times. The service was excellent and professional, with very helpful and friendly staff, but some areas of the location could use improvement. The dining experience was decent, with freshly prepared dishes, but there were some inconsistencies. Overall, it was a stay with highs and lows.
